I am an experienced journalist with a background covering local news, business and politics in print, online, and through photography and video. In addition to my own writing and reporting, I also have experience working with reporters to edit and rewrite copy.
Covering lawsuits and legal developments for Law360's employment-focused vertical. I write two to three news or feature articles per day, primarily about issues of employment discrimination and employee benefits involving Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, and other federal and state civil rights laws.
Responsible for writing at least three articles per day about trends in retail and eCommerce based on interviews with CEOs, quarterly earnings reports and independent research. Also led the daily production of the PYMNTS Retail newsletter, including assignment and editing of news briefs from freelance writers.
Managed a team of reporters covering economics and other social sciences, including anthropology, political science, sociology and international relations. I was responsible for helping maintain daily and weekly publishing schedules and assigning stories pitched by the research team.

In December 2020, I began primarily covering economics research as Fastinform transitioned to The Academic Times, a news website dedicated to university professors and scholars.

Copy edited and designed news, sports, business and features content for multiple newspapers owned by McClatchy on the East Coast.
Managed a newsroom of more than 30 student journalists, overseeing print and social media content. Managed breaking news coverage, coordinated special issues (e.g. mental health, Boston Marathon anniversary, sports specials). Edited stories on a daily basis, served on the newspaper's Executive Board and produced the Collegian's first updated style guide in 10 years.
Wrote feature articles for the health section of the Gazette. Attended and covered various events, interviewed subjects in person and over the phone, and assisted with community listings.
